Description of Milton Presbyterian Church from An Inventory of Historic Architecture--Caswell County, North Carolina, Ruth Little-Stokes (1979) at 222:
Photo 358. Milton Presbyterian Church. 1837. Robust temple-form Greek Revival style church with a Doric portico, simple dignified details. Built by the first church congregation in Milton, established ca. 1825. The pine, walnut and popular pews, with beautifully curved arms, were made by Tom Day, who with his wife Aquilla, became a member in 1841.
